Spring Afternoon

Cyndel and her American History Pups will debut at adoption events next weekend!

Cyndel and her American History pups are enjoying a nice spring time afternoon in the backyard.

Down the porch stairs and into the yard to run and play! Nanny dog Harriet made sure everyone behaved...

Abby, the only little girl in the litter, is looking prettier each day! She looks so unique with her one blue eye and one brown eye.

Georgie with his big blue eyes says - "You talking to me?!"

Johnny knows he is adorable and poses for the camera.

Blue eye Abe is looking handsome and has the same special eyes as his sister Abby.

Benny says hello from the steps! It's hard to say no to a face that sweet!

Alex gives us a wink! He is a charmer!

Tucking in her Babies

The American History Pups are seven weeks old now! They will be up for adoption soon, but until then they still have momma Cyndel to tuck them in at night...

They make quite an adorable little puppy pile!

We have names!

Did you know that fosters of pregnant momma dogs get to name their puppies?!

Cyndel's foster decided to name the puppies after American history figures! We are pleased to debut Abby Adams, Johnny Adams, Tommy Jefferson, Georgie Washington, Alex Hamilton, Jimmy Madison, Benny Franklin, and Abe Lincoln.

Family photo time!

The puppies are growing bigger and bigger! They sure like their puppy food and there is plenty to share thanks to our generous donors!

And what do they do after their bellies are full?! Why... snuggle in an adorable puppy pile!

Turning Two Weeks Old!

Cyndel has turned out to be a very loving momma! She gets up every 15 minutes or so and goes to the door and listens for their cries. If she hears them she runs down the steps and gets in the pool with them. So far she is being a good mom even though she herself is still young enough to be on puppy food. There are 7 boys and 1 girl. Names to come...

Congrats to Momma Cyndel!

Momma Cyndel came to Lost Dog very pregnant and ready to burst at the end of January! Like most pregnant momma dogs, she was in desperate need of rescue. Thanks to our volunteers and donors, we were able to say YES to Cyndel and make her dream (and her future puppies' dreams) come true!

Last Sunday Cyndel gave birth to EIGHT beautiful babies in a loving foster home! All of this was made possible because of volunteers like YOU! Thank you to our awesome team of volunteers who help transport these mommas to safety and the fosters who open their hearts and homes to help us save lives!

Here they are already one week old! How adorable are they?!

Stay tuned for more updates on Cyndel and her beautiful babies as we Follow that Family!

Want to foster a furry family too?! If you are interested in fostering a momma dog and puppies (or just a handful of puppies!), then check out our foster information and fill out an application online. We would love to get you a furry family of your own to nurture while they await their forever homes.

Not ready to take the puppy plunge? We also have great adult dogs who would love an advocate and a snuggle buddy to keep toasty this winter season! Check out some of our great adult dogs here.

Have more questions about fostering? Email us at foster@lostdogrescue.org. We would love to talk with you!
